UBT’s Achievements and Strategic Priorities at the Close of the Academic Year

At the conclusion of the 2025–2026 academic year, UBT held the general meeting of its Academic Assembly and administrative staff, where the institution’s most significant developments, achievements over the past year, and strategic priorities were presented. The Rector of UBT Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, outlined the university’s vision for academic transformation, inspired by the model of the BOKU University, emphasizing that the university is entering a new era of development founded on quality, international standards, and academic excellence.

UBT intensive workshops for new programs

Throughout the entire month of June, the Agricultural University of Tirana held a series of intensive workshops, organized almost every day, as part of the quality assurance process in the implementation of new programs, within the framework of the reform of the academic offer UBT-BOKU 2030, for the new academic year. The workshops were organized by the Vice Rector for Teaching Prof. Dr. Ilir Kapaj, the Directorate of Internal Evaluation and Quality Assurance at UBT (DVBSC), and the program coordinators.

UBT organizon konferencën ndërkombëtare CASEE​

The conference gathered experts, academics, and representatives of institutions from 14 different countries in Europe and beyond, where discussions were held on European integration, reforms in agriculture, water management, and the future of higher education.

An important part of the discussions was also dedicated to the UBT 2030 project and the transformation of the Agricultural University of Tirana towards more advanced European standards.

Formësohet oferta e re akademike 2026-2027, BOKU në UBT për programet e reja Master  

In the 19th joint mission of BOKU-UBT, the delegation from Vienna came to discuss key issues related to improving the administration process, teaching, promoting UBT's mobility programs, and other important aspects of the reform. During the discussions, 18 master's programs were reviewed, which will also be submitted for approval to the Ministry of Education.
