UBT Hosts the
International CASEE
Conference
The conference brought together experts, academics, and institutional representatives from 14 countries across Europe and beyond to discuss European integration, agricultural reforms, water management, and the future of higher education.
A significant part of the discussions focused on the UBT2030 project and the transformation of the Agricultural University of Tirana in line with advanced European standards and best practices.
UBT graduates 1,500 students amid emotions and inspiration for the future
The graduation ceremony at the Agricultural University of Tirana was held in a festive and emotional atmosphere, where over 1,500 students successfully completed their studies. The event was also attended by high- level state representatives, including Ministers Mirela Kumbaro and Andis Salla. Rector Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku praised the graduates, while entrepreneur Altin Prenga inspired them to become innovators in the agricultural sector. The ceremony featured artistic performances and culminated with the distribution of diplomas and the symbolic throwing of caps.

BOKU at UBT for the new
Master’s programs
During the 19th joint BOKU-UBT Mission, the delegation from Vienna arrived to discuss key issues related to improving administrative processes, teaching, the promotion of UBT mobility programs, and other important aspects of the reform. During the sessions, 18 Master’s programs were discussed, which will also be submitted for approval to the Ministry of Education. The administrative and academic analyses focused on the current situation, responsibilities, and institutional needs of the university.
The results of the two-year project Advanced Water Quality Monitoring
The Agricultural University of Tirana presented the results of the two-year AMORE-AL project, which has installed the first long-term automated water quality monitoring system in the Ishëm River, collecting real-time data on several parameters and using scientific models such as MoRE to identify pollution sources and emissions within the basin.
The 18th Mission UBT-BOKU: New Master's Programs
The mission was assessed as a successful process by the rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, and Prof. Dr. Hubert Hasenauer on the path to consolidating UBT as an academic institution with an increasingly strong international profile. Continues...
