Natural Sciences – 15%: covers the natural and environmental dimensions of agricultural and rural development, including land use, ecosystem services, environmental policies, and sustainable rural development.

Socio-Economic Sciences – 70%: represents the core component of the program and includes agricultural economics, European policies, rural development, market analysis, public policy, agribusiness, and finance.

• Technical Sciences – 15%: covers the technical and analytical component of the program, including quantitative methods, data analysis, and tools that support evidence-based decision-making and policy development.


The Master’s Program in Agricultural Economics and European Policies is based on an interdisciplinary approach that integrates economics, agricultural economics, public and European policies, finance, rural development, project management, and data analysis. This approach enables students to understand and analyze the challenges of the agri-food sector, the impact of public policies and European Union instruments, as well as the processes of rural development and European integration. The program develops competencies in the design, implementation, and evaluation of development policies and projects, preparing specialists to contribute to the modernization of agriculture, the management of development funds, and the sustainable development of rural areas.
