The Agricultural University of Tirana (UBT) held an informational meeting with high school graduates from Tirana, continuing the presentation of its academic offer for the 2026–2027 academic year. The event focused on familiarizing young people with the study programs, career opportunities, and international experiences offered by UBT.
During the meeting, presentations were delivered by representatives of the university’s five faculties—Agriculture and Environment, Economics and Agribusiness, Biotechnology and Food, Forestry Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine—as well as by the Erasmus Office, which informed the high school graduates about opportunities for exchanges and studies abroad.
During the meeting with the high school graduates, it was emphasized that UBT’s study programs open concrete career paths in public administration, private businesses, and non-governmental organizations, by offering professional training closely aligned with labor market needs.
Special attention was given to programs with European expertise, designed in collaboration with experts from Austria and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) – Vienna.
Currently, UBT offers a total of 13 study programs, including 12 Bachelor’s programs and one integrated program in Veterinary Medicine, accompanied by Master’s and Doctoral cycles. Nine of these programs are offered within the framework of academic cooperation with BOKU and aim to prepare students with contemporary knowledge and interdisciplinary skills: Agricultural Sciences and Food Safety, Environmental and Water Engineering, Information Technology in Agriculture and Environment, Economics, Business Management, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition Sciences, Interior Design and Wood Engineering, and Forestry Engineering.
UBT invites high school graduates from across the country to participate in informational meetings about its study programs, held on the university campus, to visit the campus, and to get acquainted firsthand with a distinctive academic offer, built according to the best European standards and oriented toward the future.
