UBT Collaborates with Hunter Group Albania to Advance Education in Landscape Architecture

Through the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, AUT welcomed Hunter Group Albania, which held an open presentation for Landscape Architecture students, showcasing the most advanced irrigation and outdoor lighting systems.

This activity marks the beginning of a new and promising collaboration between UBT and Hunter Group Albania, aiming to strengthen the connection between academic education and professional practice in the field of landscape design and implementation.

Within the framework of this partnership, Hunter Group Albania will contribute directly to Studio courses by providing professional technical assistance in the design of irrigation and lighting systems. This engagement will also include international specialists from Israel, who will work closely with students on their academic projects.

The collaboration also предусматривает the provision of professional internship opportunities for up to six students per academic year, enabling them to gain hands-on experience in real-world projects and direct exposure to industry standards. Additionally, concrete employment opportunities will be created for graduates who demonstrate high professional and technical performance.

Another important component of this collaboration is the investment in establishing a Hunter Group product exhibition within AUT premises, which will serve as an educational platform for students and academic staff, strengthening applied learning in landscape infrastructure systems.

This partnership represents an important step toward enriching the academic experience at AUT, promoting international knowledge exchange, and enhancing students’ professional readiness in the fields of irrigation, lighting, and sustainable outdoor systems.
