Danish Students Visit UBT

A group of 30 students from Bygholm Landbrugsskole in Denmark, specializing in Agriculture, conducted a study visit at the Agricultural University of Tirana.

During their visit to the university campus, the students had the opportunity to closely explore UBT’s facilities, including the plant and soil laboratories, which represent an important foundation for the development of research and professional practices at the university. They also learned about some of the diseases affecting plants and agricultural crops in Albania.

Their visit to Albania was part of a broader study tour, during which the students explored various aspects of Albanian agriculture and the environment firsthand. These experiences were also reflected in the informational meeting they held with UBT’s academic staff, where they discussed their field observations and exchanged perspectives on the development of the agricultural sector.

An important part of the visit was also the presentation of the profound transformation that UBT is undergoing, within the framework of reforming its study programs and modernizing its academic infrastructure, with the aim of aligning with the most advanced European standards in the field of life sciences and agriculture.

For some time now, the Agricultural University of Tirana has been welcoming academic staff and students from universities across Europe and beyond, who show growing interest in collaboration and in gaining firsthand insight into the developments and potential that UBT offers.
