Through established international collaborations and scholarship programs, since 2021 hundreds of UBT students have either completed or are currently pursuing studies at well-known European universities, gaining academic and cultural experience in line with European standards.
During the 2024–2025 academic year, through the Erasmus+ program, around 120 UBT students have been selected to spend a semester studying at partner universities in Europe.
The students, representing all faculties of the university, have carried out their mobility at prestigious universities in Germany, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Serbia, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Slovenia. This six-month experience has allowed them to deepen their academic knowledge, become familiar with modern European teaching and research practices, and strengthen their professional, language, and intercultural skills.
Through Erasmus+, UBT students have had the opportunity to work in modern laboratories, participate in international research projects, and build collaborative networks that support their long-term academic and professional development.
A key role in this process has been played by the UBT Erasmus Office, which has provided full support at every stage of the mobility – from initial information and guidance, to assistance with applications, coordination with host universities, and the academic recognition of credits after completing the semester abroad. Through a structured and transparent process, the university ensures the full integration of this experience into the students’ academic journey.
Broad participation in Erasmus+ confirms UBT’s strategic commitment to the internationalization of higher education and alignment with European standards. At the same time, it represents an excellent opportunity for high school graduates and future students who choose UBT, offering them not only quality education but also international experience that opens doors to new opportunities.
