On the third and final day of the joint mission, the Agricultural University of Tirana and BOKU University of Vienna held a concluding meeting, during which the achievements and results of two intensive days of academic work at the premises of UBT were discussed.
During this concluding meeting, the progress made in finalizing and reviewing the new Bachelor’s and Master’s programs was highlighted, along with the alignment of curricula with European standards, as well as the strengthening of institutional cooperation between the two universities.
Participants from both universities emphasized the importance of working in thematic groups, in-depth discussions, and the exchange of international expertise, which have directly contributed to the modernization of UBT’s academic offerings.
The meeting also served as a moment of reflection on the next steps, defining priorities for the continuation of the UBT–BOKU strategic partnership, with a focus on teaching quality, internationalization, and full alignment with European best practices in higher education, as well as the advancement of scientific research.
The mission was assessed as a successful process by the Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, and Prof. Dr. Hubert Hasenauer, as part of the path toward consolidating UBT as an academic institution with an increasingly strong international profile.
