We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Regional Workshop on Innovation, Research, and Strategic Development, which will take place on 16 February 2026 at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Albania.
The workshop aims to foster the development of forward-looking projects aligned with the European Community’s current and future economic and strategic priorities. The programme will highlight initiatives in technological innovation, professional training and capacity building, energy-related development, and the establishment of an Agricultural Analysis Laboratory, envisioned as a regional hub serving the Balkans.
This event will bring together leading industry representatives, prominent research institutions—including the Joint Research Centre (JRC)—as well as universities, funding organisations, and policy experts involved in joint European initiatives. Your participation would add significant value to the discussions and collaborative objectives of the workshop.
A key objective of the workshop is the establishment of collaborative working groups to strengthen regional partnerships. While Albania is a central partner in this initiative within the European Community framework, the workshop will also engage participants from Kosovo, Greece, and other Balkan countries.
