AUT Opens Its Doors to Graduating Students: New Cooperation with High Schools of the Municipality of Kamëz 🎓

The Agriculture University of Tirana continues to expand its cooperation with pre-university education institutions by welcoming to its campus the principals of high schools from the Municipality of Kamëz. The meeting focused on presenting the university’s study programs and creating new opportunities for collaboration in support of the academic guidance of graduating students.​

During this meeting, the participants discussed building closer cooperation between the Agriculture University of Tirana and high schools through the organization of joint activities, informational visits by graduating students to the university campus, and orientation presentations that help young people become more familiar with the study programs and professional opportunities offered by the university.

The Rector of the Agriculture University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, presented to the school principals the deep reform that the university has undertaken in recent years to restructure its study programs and enhance academic quality. He emphasized that this transformation is being carried out in cooperation with, and with the academic assistance of, BOKU University in Vienna, one of the most prestigious institutions in Europe in the fields of agriculture, environment, and life sciences.

In the discussions, the importance of early guidance for graduating students toward university studies was emphasized, as well as familiarizing them with the opportunities offered by the Agriculture University of Tirana. These include new study programs, laboratories, academic infrastructure, and the network of international collaborations.
