An open lecture was held at AUT by a professor from the University of Warsaw

An open lecture was held at AUT with the participation of Prof. Karol Bronisz from the University of Warsaw in Poland, organized at the Faculty of Forestry Sciences. The event was attended by students and academic staff, who had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with modern approaches to forest study and management.


During the lecture entitled “Modelling the characteristics of trees and forest stands in Polish forests based on the National Forest Inventory,” students gained practical knowledge on how forest data are analyzed, how forest structure modelling is carried out, and how national inventories are used for planning and sustainable management.


Meanwhile, the academic staff became acquainted with contemporary research methods and European models that can be integrated into the teaching process and scientific projects.


The lecture also served as an opportunity for the exchange of academic experiences and the strengthening of international cooperation, bringing concrete European practices closer to the academic community of AUT.
