The Agricultural University of Tirana continues to expand its network of international partnerships by signing a cooperation agreement with UBT in Kosovo.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of the Agricultural University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, and the Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, with the aim of strengthening collaboration in the fields of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and academic exchange.
As part of this partnership, a delegation from the Agricultural University of Tirana, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatbardh Sallaku, paid an official visit to the UBT campus in Kosovo.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Science, Innovation and Technology Park, as well as the university's laboratories, innovation centers, and state-of-the-art facilities. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on institutional development and best practices in higher education.
During the meeting between the leadership of the two universities, discussions focused on opportunities to develop joint research projects, establish collaborative academic programs, promote the mobility of students and academic staff, and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest to both institutions.
The agreement establishes a strong foundation for joint initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching and scientific research, strengthening internationalization, and fostering innovation, thereby contributing to the advancement of higher education and science across the region.
